Touch of Nature Environmental Center in Carbondale is creating a new recreational experience for SIU, Southern Illinois, and the surrounding region by introducing a multi-use trail system for bikers and hikers. This informative presentation by JD Tanner will introduce you to the project, show the progress made, and explain how you can help.

 

JD Tanner is the Director of SIU’s Touch of Nature Environmental Center. JD has a Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor and Therapeutic Recreation from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO, a Master’s degree in Recreation Administration from SIU, and almost 20 years of experience in outdoor and environmental education.
